As one of my presentation role models, Scott Berkun, has pointed out, my reading has become shallow. Too much of my reading is now an e-mail, blog post, or Twitter feed. One of my friends set the goal of ignoring Google Reader until he completed a full-length novel. Mitch Joel, from Six Pixels of Separation, recently wrote a post about how reading more is the most important thing you can do.

I’m working through the excellent Ideas in Food book right now, which deserves a post of its own. However, I’m looking for a non-food-related book to engage over the next month. Please feel free to leave suggestions in the comments and I’ll post updates on my blog.
